The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) will offer 44 free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) covering various interesting topics.
In a Facebook post by UPOU on Thursday, January 9, the list of courses available for interested applicants was shared.
“From interesting topics such as “Identifying Red Flags,” to courses that can unleash your “Creativity and Innovation,” help you discover “What Makes an Entrepreneur?” and even trending topics like Artificial Intelligence and Gender Sensitivity—whatever your interests, we’ve got something just for you!” it can be read.
Applicants who complete the courses will receive an e-certificate, which can be included in their resume as a 16-hour training credential.
For those who wish to enroll but do not yet have a MODeL account, simply follow these steps:
- Fill out the registration form: https://url.upou.edu.ph/upoumodel-signup
NOTE: We create accounts in bulk every Thursday, with a weekly cut-off at 4 PM on Wednesday. Requests after the cut-off will be processed the next week.
- Once you receive your login details, sign in to your account.
- Change your password to something secure.
