Before passing the 2024 Bar Exams, Christian first excelled in the October 2019 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination.

In that exam, he secured 3rd place with an impressive rating of 89.50 percent. Christian is a graduate of De La Salle University-Manila, ranked third of 2,075 who passed out of 14,492 who took the CPA board exam.

“I am very proud of my son. Hindi ko mailarawan ang kaligayahang nadadama ko ngayon (I cannot describe the joy I feel right now),” he said through a statement while with President Rodrigo Duterte in Japan last 2019.

“Nagkataon na pareho kaming top 3— ako noong nakaraang halalan at siya ngayon naman sa CPA licensure exams” he said.

“Bilang isang ama, wala akong ibang hinahangad kundi makitang matagumpay ang aking mga anak (As a father, I have no other wish but to see my children succeed). I’m also happy that we now have a new roster of certified public accountants,” he added.

Christian’s father, Senator Bong Go, is widely recognized as a close associate of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
