As part of being a teacher or class adviser, conducting proctoring during test-taking is essential. It ensures that students remain focused on answering their own test papers and do not copy from their neighbors or engage in cheating.

Netizens were entertained by the unique approach of public school teacher and part-time college instructor Teacher Sigrid Fadrigalan-Tibordo after she shared a photo showcasing her quirky and fun way of proctoring an exam.

In the image, the teacher can be seen standing on her chair while her class takes the test.

“Goods naman po, so far. Walang nagkokopyahan. Bait,” she said in her Facebook post.

This garnered various reactions and comments from netizens.

“Hahaha magaya pa rin pwestuhan mo ganire.”

‘KAKAIBA KA TALAGA MA’AM!”

“Kapag ganyn nga naman ang teacher batch tlga namang d kna makakakopya nyan buti walang ganyan nung nsa balian palang tayo noon hahaha!!!”

“Parang batch lang namin to mam. Napakabait at walang nag kokopyahan”

“Naku madam wag sana makita ng PRC baka makakuha ng idea mga proctor.”

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ganyan din dati ma’am ay talagang parang magkaka stiff neck at matatakot na tumunghay.”

In an interview with Teacher Sigrid, it was revealed that she resides in Tayabas City, Quezon Province, and teaches Filipino to Grade 11 students at Luis Palad Integrated High School.

She shared that the students in her viral photo were taking their periodic exam.

“Periodical Examination ito, kapag ganito, proctor ang role naming mga guro. Kapag nasa unahan at nakaupo, hindi kita ang lahat ng bata. At dahil iniiwasang magkaroon ng pagkakataon sa dayaan, tiniyak ko na makikita ko silang lahat kahit alam kong mabubuti sila at mahuhusay,” she said.

She stated that her approach has been effective, and no student dared to employ any “pinagbabawal na teknik.”

She explained that teachers should not allow students to cheat, as it is akin to creating a society of cheaters.
